Assassin’s Creed Unity Delayed

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin's Creed Unity, the first "truly next-gen" AC game coming only to Xbox One, PS4, and PC, has been delayed to November 11th.

The game was originally going to hit store shelves on October 28th, but now will launch alongside its last-gen counterpart Assassin's Creed Rogue the following month.

So why has Ubi opted to push back the release? It's quite simple, actually. The studio needs more time.

"As we got close to the finish, we realized we were near the target but still needed a bit more time to hone some of the details to make sure Assassin’s Creed Unity is exceptional," says Ubisoft senior producer Vincent Pontbriand explained. "We sincerely appreciate players’ commitment to the game and their patience. It’s just a couple more weeks. And it’s going to be worth it."

Are you disappointed by the delay? Either way, October and November are going to be awfully busy months for gamers. Get excited!
