NBA Live 15 Delayed

EA Sports has announced that the release of its upcoming basketball game NBA Live 15 has been pushed to October 28th.

In a post on the official EA Sports blog, producer Sean O'Brien explained why the title has been delayed, saying, "We will be taking a few extra weeks to polish the game and make sure you get an incredible NBA experience from the moment you first boot up the title."

In addition, he notes that "the team took on an incredible amount of work this year literally touching every single system in gameplay, focusing on providing improved control and responsiveness, as well as animation that both looks and feels great.  That will be our calling card moving forward."

There's no doubt that the folks over at Electronic Arts have their work cut out for them as they seek to compete with the juggernaut that is the NBA 2K franchise. Do you think NBA Live 15 will be able to win over basketball fans when it releases this October? Be sure to check out our first look at the game here.
