Nintendo Direct Announced for June 2023

It was rumored, and now Nintendo has confirmed it. The company revealed that a Nintendo Direct will stream on June 21 and contain looks at a whole host of titles.

When is the June 2023 Nintendo Direct?

The June 2023 Nintendo Direct will kick off at 7 a.m. PT on June 21 on Nintendo’s YouTube channel and feature “roughly” 40 minutes of games that are “mainly” launching in 2023. Nintendo made sure to call out Pikmin 4, one of its announced first-party titles for 2023. It’s also possible that the mysterious Everybody 1-2 Switch will show up there along with Splatoon 3’s upcoming single-player campaign DLC called Side Order since both are likely releasing within the year. It’s also unclear how much heavy lifting “mainly” is going to do since Nintendo’s future past 2023 is incredibly foggy.

As is usually the case with these big showcases, there were loose rumblings of an imminent Nintendo Direct. For example, insider Jeff Grubb said he heard that a Nintendo Direct of some kind was slated for July, which was only slightly off. Portuguese site Nintendo Universe also stated that there would be a Direct for this exact week in June.
