Polyphony Targeting 2015-6 Release for Gran Turismo 7

The next entry in Polyphony Digital's popular PlayStation-exclusive racing franchise, which will undoubtedly be titled Gran Turismo 7, is expected to make it out on store shelves either next year or the year after.

GT games have had notoriously long development cycles, but the wait (hopefully) won't be quite as long this time around, as series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has told Games TM that developing for PlayStation 4 has proven to be much easier than it was working on Sony's last-gen console.

"Everything will be running naturally," he told the outlet. "PS3 was much, much more difficult. The high quality of data that we have being rendered on the PS4 I think is going to make an incredible difference."

Gran Turismo 6 launched last year, exclusively for PlayStation 3 owners. You can check out our review here.
