Final Fantasy XIII-2 Gets Release Date for Steam

Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be available for PC gamers by way of Steam on December 11.

If you head over to Valve's digital marketplace and pre-purchase the game now, you'll save 10 percent, slashing the price from $19.99 to $17.99. The title will feature a silky-smooth resolution of 60fps, custom resolutions, and additional graphics options.

The trilogy of Final Fantasy XIII games have proven to be quite polarizing among fans, but the general consensus is that XIII-2 fixed a number of the issues that plagued its predecessor, namely its overly-linear game design. For more on the FFXIII sequel, consult our review.
