A Polish MP has reacted to the GTA 6 release date delay and called it a “disturbing matter.” Notably, GTA 6 stands for Grand Theft Auto VI, an action-adventure online game developed and published by Rockstar Games. They originally planned to release it in May 2026, but have now postponed it to November 2026. Surprisingly, the matter reached the Polish parliament and became a cause of concern among the politicians.

As per a viral clip on Reddit, during an important parliamentary session, Witold Tumanowicz, a member of the KWiN opposition party (Confederation Liberty and Independence), addressed the issue in a mock-serious tone.
Tumanowicz mockingly remarked, “As part of my parliamentary statement, I wanted to inform you about a very disturbing matter. An hour ago, Rockstar Games announced that GTA 6 will be postponed until next year. This is a huge scandal. Frankly, if people don’t take to the streets after something like this, I don’t know what will happen.”
Another MP, Paweł Szrot from the Law and Justice Party, joined Tumanowicz and echoed the same sentiments. In an X (formerly Twitter) post, he stated, “I respect such statements, Representative. I hope the add-on for Bannerlord (another role-playing video game) doesn’t get delayed any further.”
Meanwhile, fans on Reddit absolutely loved Polish politician Witold Tumanowicz hilariously discussing the GTA 6 delay in parliament. One user commented, “The game needs some more polish and these guys got lost in translation,” accompanied by a laugh emoji. Another user wrote, “Lmao no way bro smirking too.”
A third user penned, “Another reason to be proud of being Polish. LMAO. Gotta polish them games.” Furthermore, a fourth user chimed in and suggested, “Drag the Rockstar to the UN, we are with u, Mr. Baldie Polish.”
Interestingly, the first trailer for GTA 6, released on December 5, 2023, has already garnered over 268.6 million views on YouTube. It surpassed the Avengers: Infinity War trailer as the most viewed trailer on the streaming platform, which has 268.5 million views.
Gaming fans consider the Grand Theft Auto series as one of the most successful gangster-themed video games. The first installment premiered in 1997. So far, there have been five main GTAs, with the sixth one in the pipeline. GTA 6 will now release on November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
