Fortnite recently released the teaser trailer for the Chapter 6 Finale Live Event. It featured appearances from pop culture icons like Godzilla, Homer Simpson, and Kill Bill’s The Bride (Uma Thurman). The Bride’s appearance garnered considerable attention, as fans have been speculating that a Kill Bill and Fortnite crossover was in the works.
Fortnite is collaborating with Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill
Fortnite recently released the teaser trailer for the Chapter 6 Finale Live Event. Clocking at 30 seconds, it opens with a shot of a device containing a crystal before cutting to Jones running across the battlefield while witnessing Godzilla and King Kong fight. Simultaneously, a voiceover says, “This is it. We’ll never get a better shot.”
Then, a group of fighter jets flies into the scene, trying to take down a large glowing being. A giant, naked Homer Simpson also arrives and throws a donut.
Finally, Kill Bill’s The Bride (Uma Thurman) arrives and takes Jones on her bike. The former tells the latter to “hang on” as they speed away. The footage ends as a voiceover shouts Jones’ name, implying the latter falls into some kind of trouble.
The official Instagram page of Fortnite also confirmed that a Kill Bill-oriented chapter was on its way. Titled The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge: Fortnite After Dark, it will release on November 30, 2025.
Yuki’s Revenge was a storyline Quentin Tarantino originally wrote for Kill Bill Volume 1. However, it was scrapped because of pacing issues. The story would have followed Gogo Yubari’s sister, Yuki, who learned of her death and traveled to America to hunt down The Bride.
Uma Thurman’s The Bride’s appearance in the trailer confirms prior speculation that a Kill Bill crossover was happening. A few weeks ago, content creator Nick Eh 30 shared a teaser that included real-world coordinates for the Hollywood sign. It also included a text that read, “Now Playing / Zero Hour / Chapter Seven / Fortnite After Dark With Q&U.”
The “Q&U” caught fans’ attention. This is because Kill Bill’s film credits credited Quentin Tarantino and Uma Thurman with those initials when mentioning The Bride’s conception.
This crossover comes at a rather special time. Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, combining volumes 1 and 2 into one film, is scheduled to hit theaters on December 5, 2025.
