Mob connoisseurs are in for a treat with the latest Minecraft update, which is all about adding an extra dash of cuteness to the world of blocks. The update introduces new, adorable versions of baby farm mobs, redesigned to be chunkier, floofier, and more charming than ever.
Minecraft’s new update has upgraded the characters’ cuteness
Minecraft’s new update is all about spreading joy. It introduces eight adorable versions of baby farm mobs. Some exciting features of this update include unique new sound effects for all, upgraded animations, and craftable name tags.
Here are more details about the cute overhaul:
- Wolf pup: The chunkier wolf pups are being introduced to testing. With nine variants to collect, players can sniff around different biomes to find them all.
- Kitten: The kittens also got a squishy makeover. All eleven variants are now even more purr-fect, and players can find them in villages and swamp huts and tame them with raw cod or salmon.
- Baby chicken: The newest baby chickens have hatched as well. The tiny chicks know how to make a big impression, both in and out of the coop. There are three adorable variants, each found in different climates: chilly, temperate, and warm.
- Rabbit: The baby and adult rabbits have hopped into testing with puffier tails and floofier fur. Game Artist Sarah Boeving’s redesign has further elevated the adorability of the velvet-nosed mob.
- Piglet: The little oinkers are now smaller, stockier, and more lovable than ever. Players can befriend fluffy piglets in chilly biomes, brown-coated piglets in warm biomes, and the iconic pink piglets roaming the temperate biomes.
- Lambs: The lambs are even cuter now. They resemble tiny puffs of wool with legs, with each of the eleven colored variants sporting a unique look.
- Calf: The calves have gotten a moo-velous makeover. All five variants are now doe-eyed and soft-nosed, with distinguishing looks and habitats.
- Baby ocelot: The jungle-prowling baby ocelots now have big green eyes, blocky paws, and tiny toes, making them the perfect addition to the baby mob collection. The adults can be fed raw salmon or cod. They’ll return the kindness by keeping creepers and phantoms at bay.
