Hearthstone Coming to Android Tablets

Hot off the heels of their surprise upset victory at the Game Awards 2014, the people behind the Blizzard hit Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft have announced that they will be launching the mobile card game on Android tablets. The rollout, according to the Hearthstone blog, will start in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada, with the worldwide push coming in the near future.

The blog promises to deliver “the complete Hearthstone experience” to Android users, including the latest expansion, “Goblins vs. Gnomes.” Card collections and progress carries across all devices, so those who play via a different medium will not have to start over when logging on via Android tablet.

To entice players to try the game on their Android device, Blizzard is offering free packs of Classic cards to anyone who downloads and plays a game on their Android tablet, win or lose.

Those who want to play on their Android smartphones have to wait a little longer, as Blizzard promises more news on that front early next year.
