Halo 5: Guardians draws, though less intensely than Halo 4, on the Halo lore. Comics and other supplemental media have included Master Chief’s Blue Team as his companions between the larger, in-game missions. With Spartan Locke retroactively added into the lore through Halo 2 Anniversary to prep the story for Halo 5, 343 Industries is ramping up the rivalry between the two, and you play as both during the game.
