Unfortunately, Linkin Park singer and songwriter Chester Bennington is no longer with us. We want to take this moment to say rest in peace, and encourage anyone who is having a hard time in life to talk to someone.

Comment: My partner showed me the news this morning. I thought this was a hoax (as recently, there was a hoax about Rowan Atkinson, AKA Mr. Bean passing away), but unfortunately this is obviously not a lie.
I grew up listening to Linkin Park, first heard them with their song “One Step Closer” from their original Hybrid Theory album. That was 2001, I was thirteen years old at the time. My favourite song by Linkin Park is Breaking the Habit. I loved the music video.
What makes me really sad, and angry even, is so many people are complaining or/and making fun of Chester’s passing. On Facebook this morning, I saw people laughing about it, and then carrying on about “Why was he depressed? He was rich and famous” etc. Then going on to say he apparently “took the coward’s way out” and that he’s “selfish”.
It’s absolutely disgusting to see that people can have this mindset and in all honesty, if you’re reading this right now and have the same mindset, you need to uppercut yourself, preferably at nostril-point.
It just goes to show you that no matter how successful you might be, money is not always the solution to one’s problems. Depression can affect and screw over anyone.
It’s easier said than done, but if you are suffering from depression, you are not alone and you can reach out to seek help.
If you know someone who you think is suffering from depression, it will not hurt to take the time out of your day and ask them “Are you okay?”

Comment: I’ve got a copy of StarCraft 64 which I bought on Ebay for a lot less than $600, plus I don’t want to sell it. I may also have a copy of Super Mario Bros without duck hunt but I’d need to go digging through some boxes to be sure.

Comment: Hell yeah! Back in college a number of us used to play big Starcraft matches with each other. Another guy and I would do runs through Rainbow Six and it’s expansions.
After college, my cousin and I would play many of the Tom Clancy games together. Friends and I would get together occasionally and play things like Command and Conquer: Generals, Freelancer, Unreal Tournament, and of course Diablo 2. And the occasional game of Worms, just for fun.

Forum Thread: How Many Games Have You Beaten This Year?
Comment: I haven’t made an official list, so here’s going off the other thread.
For me, I bought the Humble Freedom Bundle back in February, which had like 50ish games in it, and I have a list of the games in it I’ve beaten, games you can’t really beat but I got close enough, and the games in it I have played enough of to give an honest opinion of, but don’t intend to play further (which I count as beaten, since they are no longer in my backlog).
They ones I’ve beaten are as follows:
DOOM, Megaman Legends 2, VVVVV, Octodad: Dadliest Catch, Chroma Squad, Guacamelee!, The Swapper, Psychonauts, and Day of the Tentacle.
Games I’ve “finished”:
Mountain, Stanley Parable, Stardew Valley
Games I haven’t finished but have no interest at all in playing anymore:
Girls Love Robots, Ballistick, 2064: Read Only Memories, and Super Meat Boy.
Been a pretty good year, so far.

Comment: Looking forward to the full review by GR. I was always tempted to join the Destiny craze, but never did. My impression was that while the game was entertaining, it was kinda shallow. The sequel looks promising though.

Comment: Yes ganking is a big thing in this game, but there are also save zones they are not that rewarding but after getting ganked often its time for a private instance :D.
Most important have a Guild without you will die alot and make not so much progress.
