RedMagic 7S Pro Supernova Lords Mobile Edition Review: ‘The No-brainer Choice’

REDMAGIC 7S PRO SUPERNOVA LORDS MOBILE EDITION GAMING PHONE REVIEW.

Limited to just 200 pieces in stock, the Lords Mobile Edition of the RedMagic 7S Pro Supernova pairs a super-popular mobile game with a phone described as “a gaming god” and powering the “best mobile gaming experiences” in my review. After spending many hours gaming with this limited edition version of the RedMagic 7S Pro, it’s time to relay my thoughts.

What makes the Lords Mobile Edition so special?

RedMagic 7S Pro Supernova Lords Mobile Edition Review

First things first, let’s talk about what makes the RedMagic 7S Pro Supernova Lords Mobile Edition so special. Upon receiving the Lords Mobile Edition, users will note the custom Lords Mobile box that encases the Supernova version of the 7S Pro.

The phone itself is absent of any Lords Mobile branding. It’s just a plain RedMagic 7S Pro Supernova with no additional logos or designs. Honestly, I’m perfectly fine with this and users are still perfectly able to rock Lords Mobile wallpapers on the true full-screen display.

Where the Lords Mobile collaboration returns is with the included gift card. This gift card promises between $50-500 of Lords Mobile credit, which is a definite bonus when you consider that this edition of the phone is the same $899 price as the non-special edition 7S Pro.

Going Supernova

RedMagic 7S Pro Supernova Lords Mobile Edition Review

As mentioned, aside from the bonus Lords Mobile box and credit, this is the same glorious RedMagic 7S Pro Supernova hardware that we’ve seen before. It’s got 18 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage, that 6.8″ 120 Hz display with under-display camera for a seamless full screen, 960 Hz touch sampling rate, a huge 5,000 mAH battery with 65 W fast charging, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, and the improved “ICE 10.0” cooling.

It’s a flagship gaming phone that is more than ready for games like Lords Mobile, obviously, but also more intensive titles like Genshin Impact, Call of Duty: Mobile, Apex Legends, and PUBG Mobile.

The only niggle with the RedMagic 7S Pro, as we’ve seen with many gaming-focused phones, is that the cameras can be a bit hit or miss. However, they are still perfectly functional for casual shooting and I’m happy to trade front-facing camera quality for that truly full-screen display that makes media consumption a dream.

RedMagic 7S Pro Supernova Lords Mobile Edition Review: The final verdict

RedMagic 7S Pro Supernova Lords Mobile Edition Review

Priced at $899, the RedMagic 7S Pro Supernova Lords Mobile Edition packs in special edition content at no additional cost. This is pretty unheard of and I’d urge anyone considering the standard 7S Pro Supernova to pick up the Lords Mobile Edition and make use of the included gift card. Aside from that and the box, the phone is the standard 7S Pro Supernova, making it a no-brainer, even for those who aren’t familiar with the game!
