AVerMedia ELITE GO Review

AVerMedia ELITE GO Review (GC313Pro)

AVerMedia has released the ELITE GO GC313Pro, a device that combines a 100W fast charger, HDMI docking section, and 1080p capture card. As someone who didn’t realize this kind of product was possible, I was very surprised to hear of its announcement and became eager to learn how it works. Now, after a few weeks of testing across multiple devices, I’m here with my review.

Let’s capture

As mentioned in the intro, the AVerMedia ELITE GO has a lot going on. Firstly, there’s the capture card side of things. It supports capture of up to 1080p 60 FPS video. While not as high-res as the company’s flagship products, this resolution and frame rate allows for great-quality, smooth footage. Thankfully, pass-through does support full 4K 60 FPS, so there’s no need for users to downgrade their own viewing experience while recording.

In 2025, I can see this being a popular pairing for a Steam Deck or other portable gaming handheld.

Let’s charge

AVerMedia ELITE GO Review

On the topic of portable gaming handhelds, which require a lot of power to perform at their best, the ELITE GO’s inclusion of a 100W GaN charger is well-suited to the task. That power is split between all ports, allowing users to charge multiple devices at once.

The included international adapters are more than appreciated, as it’s often tricky to get adapters that are suitable for the power conversion. The quality is good and reassuring.

Get up and go

AVerMedia ELITE GO Review

The biggest advantage of the ELITE GO is just how portable it is. It’s a tiny thing that is somehow packed full of capability. It can be tossed into a backpack with ease and without worry.

Another big win is just how easy it is to get working. Like most people, I use OBS for capturing/streaming and the ELITE GO is immediately seen in the list of devices. It’s very simple and is certainly an accessible option for beginners.

No HDMI here

AVerMedia ELITE GO Review

While the ELITE GO has impressed me in many ways, there is one shortcoming that could disappoint. This is the omission of an HDMI In. Devices that users wish to capture must have output video via USB-C. This means users won’t be able to capture PS5 or Xbox.

Final Verdict

At $129.99, the AVerMedia ELITE GO is a compelling, multi-functional gadget that punches well above its weight. Its sleek portability, strong power delivery, and seamless OBS compatibility make it a standout option for content creators and gamers on the go.

While the lack of HDMI input limits compatibility with traditional consoles like the PS5 or Xbox, it still shines as an all-in-one solution for handheld PCs, laptops, and mobile devices. If your workflow revolves around USB-C video output and you’re looking for a reliable travel companion, the ELITE GO is absolutely worth a look.
