Insta360 Link 2C Review

Insta360 Link 2C White Webcam Review

Insta360 has refreshed its Link 2C webcam with an Arctic White version. This edition comes in at the same price, $149.99, and packs in all of the same hardware and software features. Ultimately, it’s just a new white version, with Insta360 taking its already excellent webcam and releasing it in a new color. Here is my review.

Now in white

As a big fan of the Insta360 Link 2 and Link 2C in black — both of which I reviewed recently — I was bound to like the Link 2C in white. Unless the company got something drastically wrong with producing the white version, the Link 2C was going to be an obvious win.

4K done brilliantly

Insta360 Link 2C Review

Put briefly, the Link 2C captures high-quality 4K video with a relatively larger sensor that makes for solid performance in low-light conditions. The auto-framing feature keeps the subject in frame using a digital crop. The camera also makes use of HDR to save the day in trickier lighting setups, and the microphone quality is serviceable.

For the minimalist

Insta360 Link 2C Review

So it’s a great webcam that is now available in Arctic White. With minimal setups becoming more and more popular, and those setups often incorporating white or lighter wooden materials, it’s nice to see a white Link 2C option that fits in. Hopefully the Link 2 also gets an Arctic White variant, to complete the family lineup.

Final Verdict

At $149.99, the Insta360 Link 2C in Arctic White offers the same excellent performance and smart features as the original, now with a sleek, modern finish that better complements lighter or minimalist setups. If you’ve been eyeing the Link 2C and holding out for a white variant to better match your aesthetic, this is it. It’s not a game-changer in terms of new functionality, but it’s a thoughtful, stylish addition to an already impressive webcam lineup.
