With the Ikarao Break X2, the company is pushing the envelope in a major way: combining premium components and modern features to produce an all-in-one karaoke machine for consumers to enjoy. The price is a little more premium, but so is the overall experience. Here is my review after using it across many late nights.
Get the party started
Once it’s unboxed and ready to go, the first aspect that attracts the eye is the large 10.1” screen, which can be maneuvered for better viewing. This is how users get lyrics and videos to play, all via the built-in Android system. It’s a smooth-enough experience, though it can lag on occasion while navigating menus.
I feel like Ikarao has opted for a more efficient, energy-sipping processor rather than one focused on raw power, which would explain the impressive battery life, an important factor when looking to get your karaoke on away from home.
All of the connections

When at home, the screen can be bypassed in favor of a television by using the HDMI output, which is a nice touch. Other connections include Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi, AUX 3.5 mm, USB, SD card, and also mic/guitar inputs. This goes beyond what I was expecting, and users should find everything they need.
In terms of overall output, users can expect up to 300 W of power. There’s the potential for big, big sound here, and the Bass Boost and EQ options help users fine-tune their desired sound.
Get mic’d up

The included self-charging microphone setup also comes across as premium in quality. This helps with overall immersion, and the sound is perfectly fine for this price point when included in an all-in-one setup. They certainly feel better than the mics I’ve used at karaoke clubs.
The Ikarao Break X2 delivers an excellent karaoke experience for at-home and on-the-go use. The portability aspect, not just when traveling, but from moving in and out of storage, combined with how quickly users can get it set up and ready to go, really helps lessen the friction.
The downside
When it comes to downsides, the aforementioned occasional lag when navigating through the Android software is unfortunate to see, though it is a rare hindrance.
The hardware, for the price, is practically flawless. It sounds good, lasts a long time, and ultimately provides a frictionless karaoke experience that leads to more singing and fun.

Final Verdict
At $449.99, the Ikarao Break X2 is an appealing option for anyone wanting a capable all-in-one karaoke setup. Its strengths outweigh the occasional software hiccup, and the overall experience feels smooth and convenient. For most users seeking a reliable, portable system, it should fit the bill without much compromise.
