The Taiwanese tech company launched the revamped ROG Zephyrus Duo at CES 2026 on Monday. In the ROG Zephyrus Duo 2026, the original ROG Zephyrus Duo’s ScreenPad Plus has been replaced with a second full-sized display for 213% more screen real estate. The detachable keyboard is also larger than before, with a centered touchpad underneath it.
With its built-in kickstand and 320° hinge, the ROG Zephyrus Duo can now morph into five distinct modes: (via mashable.com)
- Dual-Screen Mode, where the two displays are placed on top of one another.
- Laptop Mode, where the keyboard attaches to the second display, automatically charging itself in the process.
- Sharing Mode in which two displays are laid flat on a surface.
- Book Mode, where the dual displays stand side by side in a sleek vertical setup.
- Tent Mode folds the dual displays into an inverted V shape. It allows two people to use the device at the same time.
The new ROG Zephyrus Duo packs a punch with Intel Core Ultra processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics. With up to 64GB RAM and 2TB storage, the updated laptop is a performance beast.
The ROG Zephyrus Duo’s vapor chamber, liquid metal, dual fans, and a graphite sheet under the second display keep it cool. The laptop sports a sleek aluminum chassis in Stellar Gray, featuring a “Slash Lighting” RGB strip on the lid with 35 different lighting zones.
Further adding to its versatility, the ROG Zephyrus Duo comes with six Dolby Atmos speakers. It comes with solid port selection, including Thunderbolt 4, USB-A, SD card slot, and HDMI. The 16-inch gaming laptop is a heavy one, measuring 0.77 inches and 6.28 pounds.
