I am a PS3 owner and someday hope to be a PS4 owner, yet I am not at all dissatisfied with my choice to delay purchase, solely based on the current PS4 library. When I transitioned from a Playstation 1 to a Playstation 2, I was pleasantly surprised that I could for the most part rid myself of my PS1...

Let's say we get our festive asses onto the gaming network? Saaaay Weekend of the 29th?

Show off what you got? I'm hoping I get Far Cry 3 for Christmas so could muscle that in...and if not? Halo 4 is always there.
And I dont know about you guys but I still want a big Minecraft Community Playdate. Infact I probably want to play Minecraft with you guys more than anything else.

Well, depends on what I get for Christmas. Right now, I'm exploring my PS3 library. I'm trying to finished up Uncharted 3 before I play ICO.
I seriously need to stop thanking Anthony for his review copy, but it was so nice of him.

OK.

If you guys need an incentive, I believe the 1.9 update has been released for Minecraft 360! Which means XP bar, mushroom biomes, animal breeding, volcanoes, enchanting, skill upgrades, new mobs, boss mobs, nether dungeons etc!

Heres a video. And if you're not interested watch it for the funny voices!

If i am completely not creative at all is it still worth it to get Minecraft? Saw my cousins playing it the other day at the family xmas party and couldn't decide if i should take the plunge or not.

I'd play Minecraft!

But would it be creative or survival?

I think it's 8 players total that we can get into one game.

It's not about being massively creative. I personally play it to explore and survive new worlds. It's much better with the new update since you can enchant items, so you try and kill enemies to get as much XP for enchanting as you can. And even when I have been "creative", it's not as if I've built statues or anything. The most creative thing I've done is the "Megadeath". Where you jump from the highest point of the world down into a pool of water where I've mined all the way down to bedrock (the lowest point).
I also know this game becomes much more fun when playing with someone else.

I was probably like you at first, I couldnt decide if I wanted to get it. As soon as I did I was hooked though. Hell I've got all the achievements for it and I'm STILL playing it.

If you guys dont want to play Minecraft, the new Trials Evo DLC came out too...
