Konami Delisted From New York Stock Exchange

Konami has delisted itself voluntarily from the New York Stock Exchange as of April 24 as noted by a SEC document made available today.

Not very good news, which comes after the company confirmed the cancelation of Silent Hills which would have involved Hideo Kojima, Guillermo del Toro, and Norman Reedus.

The document reveals that more than 99% of Konami's stock occurred in Japan and London, where its stock will continue to be traded. By that, the delisting isn't too much of a surprise.

And according to another filing on April 1, this will likely save the company millions of dollars. The company will be officially deregistered on July 12.
