The Boys Season 3: Is Soldier Boy Dead?

Fans are wondering if Soldier Boy is dead at the end of The Boys Season 3. The fight between him and Homelander pitted the two strongest men alive against each other. However, the result was a lot less clear than we had hoped. We’ll take a look at the final fate of Soldier Boy.

Does Soldier Boy die in The Boys Season 3?

The Boys Season 3 does Soldier Boy die

Soldier Boy doesn’t die in The Boys Season 3. He’s just incapacitated. While charging his radiation blast, Maeve grabs him and dives out of Vought Tower with him. It’s assumed the CIA subdued him. The final scene with Soldier Boy shows him in a capsule similar to the one in Russia where The Boys found him. They’re likely using some form of nerve gas to keep him comatose.

The real question is whether it’s possible to kill Soldier Boy. He’s at least as durable as Homelander, is either resistant or immune to aging, and has the ability to depower supes thanks to the Russians. His ability to almost instantly repair any damage to his body means that to kill him with one fatal blow. Butcher theorized that a direct hit by a nuclear weapon might be enough to take him out, but that’s just speculation.

However, despite the fact he’s not dead, we’ve likely seen the last of Soldier Boy. He’s too erratic for The Boys to use against Homelander, and anyone that would have helped him is dead, most of them by his hands. Furthermore, no one really likes Soldier Boy; people are just afraid of him. So, there are low chances that anyone will attempt to rescue him.

So, Soldier Boy is out of commission for the foreseeable future. It’s possible the show might return to him at some point, but it’s more likely that Butcher will rely on V24 to go toe to toe with Homelander.
