Final Fantasy XIV Stormblood: A Complete Guide to All Saints’ Wake Halloween 2017 Dungeon Event

Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood has several events throughout the year to celebrate major holidays. Starting today through Wednesday, November 1st at 7:59 a.m. (PDT), you can participate in the Stormblood: All Saints’ Wake Halloween event. The is a Halloween-themed instanced dungeon (more on that in a bit) and prizes to collect, including a Werewolf costume.

Stormblood: How to Unlock All Saints’ Wake Halloween Event

To access the event and the dungeon, you need to complete three quests. There are some prerequisites to do the quests. You must have a level 15 Disciple of War or Magic and have completed the Main Story Quest “It’s Probably Pirates.” That is a level 15 quest and can be found in Limsa Lominsa.

Stormblood: All Saints’ Wake Halloween Dungeon Guide

Halloween

The actual dungeon instance itself is a rip on Haukke Manor (my personal favorite dungeon) called The Haunted Manor. You must enter with four people like a normal party or queue up at the Mih Khetto’s Amphitheatre to get a complete light party. To do this instanced dungeon, you must be a Disciple of War or Magic. Level and class does not matter, as everyone will be level one in this instance.

Upon entering, you will notice the Halloween-esque take on the already spooky Haukke Manor. In the upper right of your status bar, you will notice an unique debuff that is your Sanity Meter. You can also find the numerical version of it on the right side of the screen under the duty objectives.

Objectives are randomized each time you enter The Haunted Manor in Stormblood. However, it is always three objectives and they range anywhere from collecting specific items to use smokebombs on enemies to lighting Jack-O’-lanterns. All of them are simple and Halloween-themed.

Despite the randomized objectives, traversing The Haunted Manor is roughly the same every time. This is a stealth-designed mission, so you want to prioritize avoiding all enemies in the dungeon. If they see you and target you, your sanity meter will deplete. Reaching zero will result in a failure.

This meter is shared between all players so even though you can split up to complete the objectives, it is key that everyone avoids detection. This can be done by watching enemy patterns and walking behind or around them. There is a new item called the Obfuscation Charm. Collect these when you see them to give you invisibility. The items are stackable.

Upon completion of The Haunted Manor in Stormblood, you will be granted a chest that grants Pumpkin Cookies. These cookies can be turned into the Alluring Peddler at (X: 10.2, Y: 9.2) for these items:

  • Magicked Prism (Pumpkin)- One cookie
  • Ghost Candlestand- Two cookies
  • Pumpkin Tower- Two cookies
  • Pumpkin Pie Set- One cookie
  • Pumpkin Pudding Set- One cookie
  • All Saints’ Wake Advertisement- Two cookies
