This is it. Epic’s first major esports event is about to get under way. The Fortnite Summer Skirmish teams are raring to go (and so they should be with a $250,000 cash pot on the line) but just which of the famous Fortnite names are making up the 100-strong list of entrants? Fortnite Summer Skirmish Start Date
The Fortnite Summer Skirmish $250,000 duos tournament kicks off at 1 p.m. PDT/4 p.m EDT/9 p.m BST. It is not yet known how long the tournament will last for but, with a $6,500 bonus for most eliminations in a game, you can expect an aggressive attacking style from most of the competitors. Not many will be holding back.
How to Watch Fortnite Summer Skirmish
The Fortnite Twitch hub currently has a list of every entrant who will be streaming the competition, as does the official Summer Skirmish site (highlight each name and click through for their Twitch pages). The best overall method to watch the Summer Skirmish would be Fortnite’s official Twitch channel, however.
Fortnite Summer Skirmish Prizes
The winner of the Summer Skirmish will be the Duos team who first reaches two Victory Royales out of 10 matches. It is not clear how separate scoring will go down, though presumably points will be allocated for the higher up a Duo finishes in each given match. Additionally, the team with the most eliminations in a single game will be given $6,500.
