The PUBG Update 20 has come bearing gifts. But there’s only one you really want to know about, isn’t there? It’s loud, goes bang, and can drop your opponents in double-quick time: the Beryl M762 Assault Rifle is not one to be trifled with. We’ll be leafing through the new PUBG gun stats, as well as which maps and locations you’ll be able to get your hands on this beauty.
PUBG New Gun: What is the Beryl M762 Assault Rifle?
Rat-a-tat-tat. The Beryl M762 Assault Rifle is the latest gun to arrive in PUBG. As it’s an assault rifle that can mean only one thing: it’s a weapon where you’ll be able to really let loose with a consistently-quick rate of fire, while still being pretty mobile on the battlefield. As we’re about to find out, though, it’s not all plain-sailing for the new PUBG gun.
Beryl M762 Assault Rifle Stats:
While PUBG Corp. are keeping the full stats close to their chest, their patch notes indicate that it may not quite by the most effective assauly rifle in the game. In fact, it’s a close second to the AKM:
- Beryl M762 uses 7.62mm ammunition and can load up to 30 rounds (40 with an extended magazine)
- The Beryl has upper and lower rails, allowing for scopes and a grip.
- It has lower per bullet damage than the AKM, but a higher firing rate, meaning higher DPS if you can control the kick.
All of that amounts to an assault rifle that requires a steady hand. If you’re more of a player of the spray-and-pray variety then you might be flat out of luck when using the Beryl M762 compared to some of the other weapons lying about.
Beryl M762 Assault Rifle Location:
The new PUBG gun is available on all three available maps: Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok. While the spawn rate has yet to be revealed, it is believed to be found on all typical loot locations, such as houses, plus supply drops. However, with it being a punchy assault rifle, don’t expect to be picking one up on a game-by-game basis.
