Blizzard has added another way for players to unlock a golden loot box in Overwatch. Golden loot boxes guarantee at least one legendary skin, which makes them a particularly coveted prize. Players could already get a golden loot box from the Twitch Prime giveaway that’s currently running, but now there is another way of doing so, too. Overwatch Golden Loot Box: How to Get a Golden Loot Box in Overwatch
It has already been announced that Blizzard is teaming up with Kellogg’s ahead of the Halloween Terror and Winter Wonderland Overwatch events. This promotion will allow players to unlock extra in-game loot boxes by purchasing specific Kellogg’s products. However, Blizzard has now announced a second promotion with Kellogg’s, which will enable players to unlock an Overwatch golden loot box. All you need to do is buy some delicious Pop-Tarts.
This promotion was announced on the Kellogg’s Family rewards website. It’s a promotion being run by Blizzard, Target, and Kellogg’s. If a player purchases three 12 packs of Pop-Tarts in Target, they will be rewarded with a golden loot box—on top of 36 Pop-Tarts. The offer is set to run from October 1 until November 30.
All the player needs to do is upload a picture of their receipts to the Kellogg’s website within thirty days of their Pop-Tarts purchases. In order to be eligible for a golden loot box, all of the purchases must be made in the same transaction. The last day to submit a receipt is December 31, 2018.
After the purchase has been verified, players will receive a golden loot box in their Battle.net account. There is a limit of one golden loot box per person, but players are free to continue buying Pop-Tarts at their own discretion.
