For many, the Without a Trace Steam achieement isn’t unlocking despite players completing the given task.
The achievement, which sees you needing to kill 10 enemies with the Death Veil ability is, to put it bluntly, glitched. This Assassin’s Creed forum thread details that some Steam achievements are bugged on PC and that, while the 1.12 update should have fixed matters, you are going to have to (ironically) turn back the clock to make sure you can complete Without a Trace.

Have you got a folder filled with manual save games for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey? I sure hope so. You’re going to have to load up an old save, preferably around the first month of the game, and go from there if you want to get the Without a Trace achievement. Sure, it may requice some work, but the achievement will pop up all the same. You can also try starting a new game, if you like.
However, there may be some hope for those who don’t want to have to play through half of the game again just to get a solitary achievement. In the thread above, Ubisoft Staff Support member UbiMatcha explains that “We’re still looking into resolving this in an upcoming title update,” so an official fix may be forthcoming.
For now, though, you’re going to have to enter the Animus that is your old save files and pray that you get one that isn’t affected by the glitch.
