Data Pack 5.0

Everything included in the PES 2019 1.12 update falls under the umbrella “Data Pack 5.0,” and it’s proof that Konami isn’t resting on its laurels over halfway through the game’s lifespan. While each minor detail hasn’t been revealed just yet, the developers have provided us with a brief overview of what to expect.

Kit update

While, of course, licensing issues persist (and mean that most of your favorite Premier League clubs won’t have the correct shirts), that doesn’t mean it rings true for the rest of the world. These kit updates, in fact, have a real South American flavor, with Argentina and Colombia’s national team getting kits to better reflect their real-world counterparts alongside Brazillian clubs Palmeiras and Corinthians. There’s over 50 changes in total.

Player faces

Not only have more player portraits been added to the game’s tactic and formation menus, so you’re less likely than ever to see a greyed-out silhouette, a whole host of new player faces have been included in PES 2019 Data Pack 5.0. The names confirmed so far? Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish, Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan, Bournemouth’s assist king Ryan Fraser, and Chelsea up-and-coming duo Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Ethan Ampadu. Players from Barcelona, Inter Milan, and the Japanese national team have also received tweaks.

Chinese Super League

The moneybags Eastern league has been fully updated for its 2019 season. So has the Thai League, if that takes your fancy.
