All Rage 2 Projects Upgrades | How to earn Project Points

Rage 2 Projects allow players to earn a variety of upgrades centered around combat, engineering, and nanotrites. To be able to unlock more Projects, players must first earn Project Points by completing locations and activities in the wasteland. Side missions in the wasteland are linked to either Basic, Kill & Destroy, Capture & Control, or Search & Recover, tied to Lily Prowley, John Marshall, Loosum Hagar, and Dr. Kvasir. Read on for our guide to all Rage 2 Projects upgrades, which will help turn you from an apocalypse noob into a wasteland god!

All Rage 2 Projects Upgrades | Basic: Lily Prowley

Each of your allies has their own set of Projects that are unlocked by working with them. These Projects will benefit you in all aspects of the game and are purchased by using Project Points that you earn by completing Locations and Activities out in the Wasteland.

Basic Projects Upgrades Tiers

• Tier 1
  • Vehicles – Unlock the Vehicles men and the Phoenix.
• Tier 2
  • Unlocked Overdrive Multiplier – Increase the cap for the Overdrive Multiplier to 10x to enable more Overdrive and Feltrite Cells to be generated from kills.
• Tier 3
  • Grenade Arc Projection – Display a predicted throw arc while cooking a grenade.
  • Overdrive Magazine Refill – Instantly refill the weapon magazine on Overdrive activation.
  • Vehicles Extension – Store more than just Ark vehicles in the Vehicles menu.

All Rage 2 Projects Upgrades | Kill & Destroy: John Marshall

Marshall’s Projects are mainly focused around Combat.

Complete Locations and Activities tied to Kill and Destroy to earn more operation power for Marshall’s operation. Doing so will also earn you Project Points which can be used to purchase Projects.

Kill & Destroy Projects Upgrades Tiers

• Tier 1
  • Bullet Bag – Carry 25% more of each type of bullet ammunition.
  • Throwables Bag – Carry up to 6 throwables of each type.
  • Pain Resistance – Reduced shakes and blur when taking damage.
  • Surprise Attack – Any attack on an unaware enemy deals 5x damage.
  • Grenade Tennis – Grenades can be deflected with a well-timed melee strike while the grenade is flying through the air.
• Tier 2
  • Special Ammo Bag – Carry 25% more of each type of special ammunition.
  • Weapon Tinkering Expert – Enables switching back and forth between weapon modifications of the same tier.
  • Sprinting Reload – Enable reloading while sprinting.
  • Moving Target – Damage taken from enemy bullets while sprinting is reduced by 30%.
  • Overdrive Slide Kick – During Overdrive, crouch slide into a light enemy to launch them into the air.
  • Critical Strike – A 15% chance to trigger a heavy impact Melee Strike that inflicts 50% more damage.
• Tier 3
  • Large Bullet Bag – Carry an additional 25% more of each type of bullet ammunition.
  • Large Throwables Bag – Carry up to 8 throwables of each type.
  • Weapon Juggler – Switch weapon when the current weapon magazine is empty to boost the switch speed by 100% and fill up the magazine of the new weapon.
  • Sprint Movement Boost – Sprint 30% faster.
    
    Tactical Movement Boost – Move 50% faster while crouching or aiming down the sights of a weapon.
  • Overdrive Strike – All Melee Strikes become Critical Strikes during Overdrive.
  • Precise Critical Strike – Critical Strike chance increases to 30%.
  • Smash Grenade Tennis – Grenades can be deflected even after landing, greatly simplifying its use.
• Tier 4
  • Large Special Ammo Bag – Carry an additional 25% more of each type of special ammunition.
  • Giblet-Powered Reload – Gibbing an enemy speeds up weapon reloads by 100% for 5 seconds.
  • Agile Marksman – Greatly improved accuracy while airborne, crouch sliding or ziplining.
  • Topspin Grenade Tennis – Deflected grenades bounce back to the thrower instead of straight forward.

All Rage 2 Projects Upgrades | Capture & Control: Loosum Hagar

Loosum’s Projects are mainly focused around Engineering.

Complete Locations and Activities tied to Capture and Control to earn more operation power for Loosuml’s operation. Doing so will also earn you Project Points which can be used to purchase Projects.

Capture & Control Projects Upgrades Tiers

• Tier 1
  • Convoy Locator – Highlight the position of Active Convoys on the Map.
  • Wingstick Lock-On – Hold [G] to lock on to a target and manually set the flight arc with [RMB]. Enables curving the Wingstick around obstacles.
• Tier 2
  • Chemist – Items can be crafted with one less chemical component.
  • Engineer – Items can be crafted with one less mechanical component.
  • Pyrotechnician – Items can be crafted with one less explosive component.
  • Technician – Items can be crafted with one less electronic component.
  • Fast Wingstick Lock-On – Wingstick lock-on is acquired 50% faster.
  • Wingstick Redirect – After the Wingstick has hit a target, press [G] to redirect the Wingstick towards the aim direction.
• Tier 3
  • Trade Routes – Roaming trader appears more often.
  • Salesman – Get 20% more cash when selling items to buyers.
  • Lucky Dollar Bill – A 25% chance to get extra cash from Storage Containers.
  • Lucky Feltzer – A 25% chance to get extra Feltrite from Stage Containers.
  • Double Redirect Combo – Enable two redirects, allowing up to three total hits with a single Wingstick.
• Tier 4
  • Effective Vehicle Harvesting – Returning Vehicles to a garage generates 100% more Cash.
  • Trade Negotiations – Get a 20% discount in all stores.
  • Lucky Mutie’s Foot – Double the activation chance of all lucky items.
  • Wingstick Explosion – Hold [G] while a Wingstick is airborne to trigger an explosion on a successful hit.
  • Triple Redirect Combo – Enable three redirects, allowing up to four total hits with a single Wingstick.

Kvasir’s Projects are mainly focused around Nanotrites.

Complete Locations and Activities tied to Search and Recover to earn more operation power for Kvasir’s operation. Doing so will also earn you Project Points which can be used to purchase Projects.

Search & Recover Projects Upgrades Tiers

• Tier 1
  • Infusion Belt – Carry up to six Health Infusion, Overdrive Infusion, and Ability Infusion.
  • Datapad Tracking – A tracker picks up the signal from Data Pads, enabling you to home in on their position using a signal strength indicator on the compass.
  • Storage Container Tracking – A tracker picks up the signal from Storage Containers, enabling you to home in on their position using a signal strength indicator on the compass.
  • Vampiric Overdrive – Immediately generate a bit of health on Overdrive activation.
• Tier 2
  • Embedded Feltrite Tracking – A tracker picks up the signal from Embedded Feltrite, enabling you to home in on their position using a signal strength indicator on the compass.
  • Feltrite Drill – Embedded Feltrite Rocks release more feltrite when harvested.
  • Feltrite Magnet – Nearby loos feltrite automatically gravitates towards your position.
  • Impact Absorption – Be able to fall from higher heights without taking damage, and any fall damage taken is reduced.
• Tier 3
  • Grenade Disruptor – Delay the detonation of enemy grenades by one second.
  • Spy Drone Tracking – A tracker picks up the signal from Spy Drones, enabling you to home in on their position using a signal strength indicator on the compass.
• Tier 4
  • Large Infusion Belt – Carry up to eight Health Infusion, Overdrive Infusion, and Ability Infusion.
  • Rocket Disruptor – The speed of enemy rockets is decreased by 20%, giving you more time to react.
  • Drone Disruptor – Enemy Drones are weakened. Decreases the damage and health of Turret Drones.
  • Ark Chest Tracking – A tracker picks up the signal from Ark Chests, enabling you to home in on their position using a signal strength indicator on the compass.
  • Deep Feltrite Drill – Embedded Feltrite Rock release even more feltrite when harvested.
  • Strong Feltrite Magnet – The Feltrite Magnet gets stronger and has a longer reach.
  • Overdrive Preservation – Pick up Feltrite Cells during Overdrive to slightly extend Overdrive duration.
  • Multiplier Preservation – Pick up Feltrite Cells to briefly pause cooldown of the Overdrive Multiplier.
