Rage 2 Campaign Length | How long to beat Rage 2

Rage 2 releases to the public tomorrow on May 14 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. With reviews for Rage 2 beginning to drop, players are wondering about the Rage 2 length. With the game being a full $60, fans are wondering if the Rage 2 campaign length is worth the full price or if they should wait for it to go on sale before they purchase it. Nothing is more disappointing than dropping $60 on a game and then feeling like you didn’t get your money’s worth. So, how long does it take to beat Rage 2?

How long is the Rage 2 campaign?

Rage 2 length

With Rage only taking around 12 hours to beat, fans are beginning to wonder if the Rage 2 length will be similar to the former game or if it will be longer? Obviously, playthrough time is going to differ based on players style of play. If you like to explore more and do loads of side missions, it is going to take you longer than it would take someone who prefers to power through the main story. With that being said, it seems that the Rage 2 campaign length is around 10-12 hours, depending on the player’s style.

However, while the Rage 2 campaign length may seem a little bit short, there is plenty more to do after the campaign that will allow players to put in plenty of time with the game. The Rage 2 roadmap shoes the planned content through the fall. As you can see in the image below, there is loads of new content coming in 2019 and lots of it is free! With new challenges and world events coming, that alone should be enough to tack on a couple of hours to the Rage 2 length.

While a lot of the Rage 2 post-launch content is free, there will also be some paid DLC coming. For example, the Rage 2 Rise of the Ghosts DLC is planned for this Fall and will definitely add some more time to the Rage 2 length.
