Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 Challenges Cheat Sheet

Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 Challenges Cheat Sheet

Another week means another batch of Fortnite Weekly challenges. This week, we’re on the Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 challenges. As usual, there is a set of free and Battle Pass challenges that you can tackle. Read on to learn how to complete each and every Week 3 challenge from May 23-29. We’ve thrown in the Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 challenges rewards for good measure, too. This Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 challenges cheat sheet is your one-stop shop for everything.

Whether you’re after the search chests at Lonely Lodge or Polar Peak locations, or how to land a trick with a Driftboard, we’re here to help. Time to get ahead of the competition. Remember, though, that these challenges have been leaked, so they are subject to change. It’s worth reminding too, that you will need to complete a match before anything counts towards challenge completion.

Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 Challenges | Free challenges

Stage 1: Land a trick with a Driftboard

Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 Challenges Cheat Sheet

The first of the three free Season 9 Week 3 challenges tasks you with completing three stages. These are as follows:

  • Stage 1: Land a trick with a Driftboard
  • Stage 2: Get 3s of airtime in a Quadcrasher
  • Stage 3: Destroy opponent structures with a vehicle

All of them are fairly self-explanatory. Just grab a Driftboard and find a ramp or jump off a height to perform a trick (hold a direction in mid-air) and then land it. We’d recommend a simple trick to ensure you land properly. Find a Quadcrasher and jump off a big height or ramp to grab those three seconds of airtime. You will need to destroy three opponent structures with any vehicle in order to complete that challenge, however. Completing all three stages will award you with five Battle Stars.

Search chests at Lonely Lodge or Polar Peak

In order to complete this challenge and earn yourself five Battle Stars, all you need to do is find and open a total of seven chests in either Lonely Lodge or Polar Peak throughout the week. There should be plenty of chests waiting for you in either area. Remember to look inside buildings for them. Watch out for other players!

Deal damage to an opponent within 10s after using a Slipstream

The last of the free challenges this week might prove tricky to complete. Firstly, you will need to find one of the three Slipstreams located on the Fortnite map. You will want to head to the two smaller Slipstreams for the easiest way to complete this challenge, however. These are located around the city limits of Neo Tilted and Mega Mall (we’ve highlighted all three Slipstreams in the map above).

Hop into a Slipstream and jump out as soon as you see an enemy. You will need to deal a total of 200 damage to enemies within ten seconds of leaving a Slipstream throughout the week to complete the challenge. Doing so will bag you 10 Battle Stars.

Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 Challenges | Battle Pass challenges

Stage 1: Visit Happy Hamlet and Shifty Shafts in a single match

The first of the four Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 Battle Pass challenges is a three-stage challenge. Thankfully, each of the three stages should prove easy enough to complete. The three stages are as follows:

  • Stage 1: Visit Happy Hamlet and Shifty Shafts in a single match
  • Stage 2: Visit Sunny Steps and Dusty Divot in a single match
  • Stage 3: Visit Haunted Hills and Salty Springs in a single match

Please be careful when it comes to other players when trying to complete this challenge. Avoid elimination between the areas and you’ll do fine and earn yourself five Battle Stars for your troubles.

Throw the Flying Disc toy and catch it before it lands

Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 Challenges Cheat Sheet

Completing this challenge will require you to first unlock the Flying Disc toy. You will do this by reaching Tier 35 of the Season 9 Battle Pass. Please make sure you have unlocked and equipped the Flying Disc toy before trying to complete the challenge.

Once you have equipped the Flying Disc toy, simply throw it and catch it before it lands. You will only need to do this once. For more information on how to throw and catch the Flying Disc toy before it lands, please refer to our guide on the challenge. Completing the Flying Disc challenge will reward you with five Battle Stars.

Explosive weapon eliminations

Time for some fire and explosions. In order to complete this challenge and earn yourself ten(!) Battle Stars, you need to eliminate three opponents with explosive weapons. That’s it. If you’re a dab hand with explosive weapons this challenge will prove to be nothing more than a walk in the park. If you’re not so great with them, however, you do have almost an entire week to eliminate just three players with explosive weapons. Find the explosive weapon or weapons you like the best and go to town.

Deal damage with different weapons in a single match

In order to complete the final Season 9 Week 3 Battle Pass challenge, you will need to deal some damage with five different weapons all in the same match. Stock up on different weapons and head to busy areas on the map. You can team this challenge up with the explosive eliminations and Slipstream challenges above, too. Talk about multitasking.

With some luck and a bit of skill you should be able to complete this challenge before the week is up. Doing so will earn you a nice ten Battle Stars.

That’s it for the Fortnite Season 9 Week 3 challenges! Complete them all and you’ll bag a hefty 50 Battle Stars. Not a bad haul for a little work, eh?
