Destiny 2 Weekly Reset (June 18) | What’s changed in the weekly reset today?

The Destiny 2 weekly reset for June 18 heralds the arrival of an old favorite. Lord Saladin is making his way into the Season of Opulence and, with it, a return of the Iron Banner for the first time in a fair few weeks. But I’m getting ahead of myself. If you’re new to Destiny 2, or just want to get back into the game ahead of New Light, we’re here to lay out the entirety of the Destiny 2 weekly reset: Its arrival time, what’s changed, and, crucially, what it means for you. Let’s go, Guardians!

Destiny 2 Weekly Reset (June 18) | When is the reset time today?

Tuesdays are always weekly reset days but, pop quiz, when is the weekly reset time? If you want to get ahead of the game and be on the ground floor just as soon as the new set of activities enter Destiny 2, it’s something you’ll need to be acutely aware of.

The Destiny 2 weekly reset is 10 AM Pacific/1 PM Eastern. That’s 6 PM BST in the UK.

It’s worth noting that you don’t need to leave the game for the weekly reset to take effect; simply sticking around at the times listed above will suffice. As soon as you see a “New Adventures Available” message, that’s the sign that everything has changed for the week.

So, what’s actually new? It’s more than you might think. Below is the full list of weekly reset changes, courtesy of Bungie’s very own Ritual Reset page, which charts all the comings and goings throughout the week:

  • Call to Arms Crucible Challenge
  • Destination Flashpoints
  • Raid Challenge Encounters
  • Raid Checkpoints
  • Dreaming City Powerful Rewards
  • Spider’s Powerful Bounty
  • Gambit Powerful Bounty
  • Gambit Weekly Challenge
  • Nightfall Strike
  • Weekly Clan Engrams
  • Weekly Clan XP Caps
  • Eververse Bright Dust Selections

Of course, the Iron Banner is headline news this week. Lord Saladin returns to The Tower on June 18, though there will now be a brand-new questline to get the in-demand Iron Banner armor.

Elsewhere, Xur is leaving the Golden Barge on Nessus that he’s called home for the past two weeks and will return again on Friday. Will he be there or somewhere else? I wouldn’t bet against the hat trick.
