Fire Emblem Three Houses | Which house should I choose?

As you begin your adventure, you will have to make your Fire Emblem: Three Houses house choice. There are three different factions in the upcoming Nintendo Switch RPG, and you’ll need to pick one to teach as the Officer Academy’s newly appointed Professor. To find out more about the Black Eagles, Blue Lions, and Golden Deer, you will need our help in making a wise decision. Have a read of our guide to find out which house you should choose in Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses | Black Eagles

The first Fire Emblem: Three Houses house choice on offer to you is the Black Eagles. The students who take up residence in this faction are known for their magic capabilities. If you want to be a supporting character who knows all of the best and most destructive spells, the Black Eagles are for you.

Members of the Black Eagles typically come from the Adrestrian Empire and includes the house leader and future emperor of this clan, who goes by the name of Edelgard.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses | Blue Lions

Next up on the list is the Blue Lions. This house is reserved for those who hail from the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, and it is led by Prince Dimitri. Those who choose the Blue Lions are experts at the Military Arts, whatever that is.

Judging by the fact that the Black Eagles and Golden Deer don’t seem to favor close combat, we suspect the Blue Lions will be perfect for you if you do your talking with a sword or axe. If you want to get up close and personal with the enemy, this is the faction for you.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses | Golden Deer

Our final house to look at is named the Golden Deer. These individuals are students from the Leicester Alliance and opt for ranged weaponry when they fight.

Led by their noble leader Claude, you’ll find Golden Deer members acting in a supportive role too. Unlike the Black Eagles, however, they prefer bows, crossbows, and other ranged weapons to take down their opponents.
