The biggest point of interest in the Borderlands 3 Update 5 patch notes is the addition of the Moxxi DLC, more formally known as Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot. This new content-based expansion follows the story of the Vault Hunters as they seek out a new score with the help of fan-favorite character Moxxi.

Borderlands 3 Update 5 also serves up a host of various bug fixes and balance adjustments. Improved UI menu performance is among new fixes, as well as improvements to general stability and a few tweaks to specific missions. A slew of general bug fixes help round out the update.

  • Addressed a reported concern related to the Grenade Indicator widget
  • Addressed a reported concern related to the Minimap widget
  • Fixed a crash that sometimes occurred when exiting the ECHO menu
  • Fixed a crash that sometimes occurred when a user attempted to load in the game after experiencing a network error
  • [Console] Fixed a rare crash that sometimes occurred in split screen when players leave the party
  • Fixed a rare crash that sometimes occurred after idling for ten minutes
