Apex Legends Grand Soiree Arcade Event all modes

The seven modes comprising this event look to be particularly fun, encompassing everything from a third-person game type (previously only accessible via an Easter egg) and a variant with automatic player respawns. All seven modes look set to change the game dynamic in significant ways, though you shouldn’t delay in playing them, as most will only be available for a couple of days.

Apex Legends Gold Rush Duos

Opening the event on January 14 and running through to the end of January 15, Gold Rush Duos will see players team up in pairs and fight it out using only the very best gold-tier Legendary weapons.

Apex Legends LIVE.DIE.LIVE

Available on January 16 and 17, LIVE.DIE.LIVE removes the need to deliver your dead teammates’ tags to a Respawn Beacon in order to have them redeploy. Instead, dead teammates will automatically spawn on their living partners when the ring closes.

Apex Legends Third-Person Mode

Running January 18 and 19, although you may have already practiced your third-person gunmanship by engaging in makeshift 1v1 Firing Range battles, nothing can prepare you for the real deal. Everybody’s sharing an “out-of-body experience.”

Apex Legends Always Be Closing

January 20 and 21 players will be able to enjoy what’s sure to be a fast-paced match type. You’ll need to stay on the move as the ring doesn’t slow down and inflicts greater damage than usual, pretty much eliminating the tried and tested camping tactic.

Apex Legends Armed and Dangerous on World’s Edge

Armed and Dangerous on World’s Edge is scheduled to be playable on January 22 and 23. This interesting mode limits armor and the available weapon pool, cutting out mid-range gunfighting by handing players shotguns and sniper rifles only.

Apex Legends Kings Canyon After Dark

On January 24 and 25, you can revisit the original King’s Canyon map for some standard battle royale action — only this time, in the dead of night.

Apex Legends DUMMIEs Big Day

Wrapping things up across January 26, 27, and 28, Apex Legends fans can play as brightly-colored DUMMIEs in a fittingly silly send-off for the Grand Soiree Arcade Event.
