Mortal Kombat 11 DLC price | Is Aftermath worth it?

The Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath Kollection has finally been officially announced. At long last, NetherRealm has given us a peek at the second season of the game. But what is the Mortal Kombat 11 DLC price? How much will all of this cost? It’s a little complicated so you’ll need to track down exactly what you need and what it’ll cost.

Mortal Kombat 11 DLC price | Is Aftermath worth it?

Not everything Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath is premium. Some part are free. The free stuff coming to everyone who owns any version of Mortal Kombat 11 are:

  • Stage Fatalities
  • Friendships
  • New stages (Deadpool, Soul Chamber, and likely at least one or two more)

You will not have to pay for any of these as they will be in the accompanying update, which is pretty convenient for those who just want to play the base game. You’ll also get balance changes and Brutalities for free as well, but those have always been free.

Mortal Kombat 11 DLC price | How much is the Aftermath Kollection?

Here’s where it gets tricky. The price of the Aftermath Kollection depends on what you have and what you want.

If you want all of Mortal Kombat 11, which includes the base game, Kombat Pack, and Aftermath additions, you’ll have to pay $59.99. Pre-ordering it before its May 26 release date will also give you immediate access to the base Mortal Kombat 11 game as well as the Kombat Pack with Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Sindel, Terminator, Joker, and Spawn. It even also comes with Shao Kahn, who was previously only for those who pre-ordered. The physical version will only be in America and will come out sometime in June.

If you want the new Aftermath additions and the Kombat Pack, you’ll have to pay $49.99. This is essentially for people with MK11 but not any of its DLC. It’s unclear if Shao Kahn is included

If you want to just buy the Aftermath stuff, you’ll have to pay $39.99. This is for people who already own MK11 and its DLC. It’s also unclear if Shao Kahn is included in this pack either.

It is unknown if players will be able to purchase the characters and story DLC individually. However, past NetherRealm games allowed players to buy fighters à la carte.
