You will most likely get this just by playing. In the beginning before you head to Seattle, you’ll go to a house with a lot of flowers in the front.
And in the red box on the bed in the room upstairs, you’ll find a handy revolver. Pretty simple.

The The Last of Us 2 shotgun is in the Seattle Day 1 chapter in the Downtown segment, which is the big open area with all of the shops. And while you should explore those areas as well, the ring is in the bank, which is in the western side of the map as you can see in the above picture.
Go into the bank. Clear out the enemies if you can. Doing so opens up the note you’ll need for the safe combo. Once the enemies are cleared out, go into the room on the left side with the vault and read the note for the safe code: 60-23-06.
The shotgun will be right in front of you on the ground by a dead guy.
The Last of Us 2 All Weapons Guide | Bow and arrow
You’ll encounter this as part of the main story. After making your way up some stairs (the ones in the above picture) and killing some infected, you will make your way into a house. After scavenging the house, you will have to go through a garage to progress the story.
You’ll get a little surprise and after that little surprise, go over to its corpse. Hold Triangle to get your new bow. You can craft arrows now, too.
