Traditionally, Pokemon games haven’t featured DLC, so it’s no surprise that people aren’t immediately sure of how to access it. First, you’ll need to ensure that you own the Pokemon Sword Expansion Pass or the Pokemon Shield Expansion Pass. Which you have doesn’t matter, as either way you’ll travel to the Isle of Armor via Wedgehurst Station.

Although footage in the recent Expansion Pass Mini Direct prompted speculation that players would travel to the Isle of Armor courtesy of a Corviknight Flying Taxi, in reality, you’ll make your way there via train. When Expansion Pass owners boot up their copy of Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield on Switch, they’ll be notified that they have an Armor Pass. Showing your Armor Pass to the rail staff at Wedgehurst Station will then kickstart your adventure to the Isle of Armor.

The staff member you’re looking for is a man in a green vest with sideburns and a goatee; he’s stood just to the right of the platform turnstiles. He’ll ask where you’d like to travel, at which point you should reply with the “Armor Station” option.
