There are several missions and challenges in Genshin Impact that rely on specific items. Some items are rare, some are not, and others — like apples — are so common that you may have forgotten where you last found them. Fortunately, there are a few places to find apples in Genshin Impact, and we know just the locations to start looking.
Where to find Apples in Genshin Impact
Genshin Impact players can find apples around Mondstadt and the Whispering Woods. Several apple trees are located just off the main road connecting Mondstadt to Starfell Lake and the Stormbearer Mountains.
As things stand now, it’s not currently possible to buy apples from any merchants. They have to be found in the wild, either dropped by trees or taken from altars. Thankfully, they aren’t very hard to spot: Apple trees are large, featuring bright green leaves and visible red fruit hanging from their branches. And, like with all foraged items in Genshin Impact, apple trees will replenish their stocks after a set amount of time has passed.
If you’re hoping to farm apples quickly, it’s best to head straight to Mondstadt. Apples can be found in abundance on the path leading north from Mondstadt’s gates up to Starfell Lake. Most are located around the shores of the Cider Lake, not far from the road. Several apple trees also grow further north into the Stormbearer Mountains.

Beyond Mondstadt and the Stormbearer Mountains, you can also find apples around the Guili Plains. Look for the tree growing next to the wooden bridge not far from the area’s fast travel point.
Thankfully, it shouldn’t take you too long to stock up. For any tree you spot, you can expect to find between three and six apples. Grab as many as you can in case you need them later.
