Zelda Skyward Sword Goddess Wall Draw Shapes Symbols

Zelda Skyward Sword Goddess Wall Shapes: What are the drawing symbols?

After finding the Goddess Harp in Zelda Skyward Sword, Link can begin finding Goddess Walls near groups of Blessed Butterflies. After seeing these murals, Link can draw a shape on them to obtain an item. Additionally, to get one of the game’s heart pieces, players must figure out a series of Goddess Wall symbols and draw them.

What shapes do I need to draw on the Goddess Walls in Zelda Skyward Sword?

For regular Goddess Walls in Skyward Sword, players can draw one of a number of different symbols to obtain items. These are:

  • Arrow: 15 Arrows
  • Circle: 15 Bombs
  • Heart: 10 Hearts
  • Hexagon: 10 Rupees
  • Hourglass: 10 Hearts
  • Triforce: 3 Fairies

If players draw anything other than the shapes above, they’ll only get three hearts in return. Once a Goddess Wall has been drawn upon, Link can’t use it again for a while, so make sure to make it count.

There’s also a series of Goddess Walls that lead to a heart piece. Once Link learns the Farore’s Courage song, Gorko will point him toward a Goddess Wall in the Sealed Grounds. Both Gorko and a Gossip Stone will give Link the following hints that tell him which picture to draw:

Arrow:

  • Gorko: “Arrow in Repose… Ye who yearns to strike targets from afar, draw this shape so that it may be known.”
  • Gossip Stone: “Rumor has it that drawing an arrow shape on certain walls will cause an object of similar shape to appear.”

Circle:

  • Gorko: “Closed Circle… Ye who hungers for destructive force, draw this shape so that it may be known.”
  • Gossip Stone: “Oddly enough, it seems that drawing a circle on certain strange walls will produce something round.”

Heart:

  • Gorko: “Life’s Crimson Vessel… Ye who longs for the source of life, draw this shape so that it may be known. Do so, and from the heavens shall fall a rain of life’s essence.”
  • Gossip Stone: “They say drawing a symbol of love upon certain walls will heal your wounds.”

Hexagon:

  • Gorko: “Glimmering Hexagon… Ye who seeks great riches, draw this shape so that it may be known.”
  • Gossip Stone: “Apparently, if you draw a symbol of money on certain walls, you can make an easy fortune.”

Triforce:

  • Gorko: “…The three… …ngles… …the Tri…ce… …and…”
  • Gossip Stone: “They say it’s possible to summon Fairies by drawing three triangles upon certain walls.”
