Will Dead Space Remake Have DLC and Expansions?

The Dead Space remake won’t receive any DLC or expansions. Developer Motive Studio confirmed that the game won’t have microtransactions, so players shouldn’t expect to see any additional purchases popping up. As for expansions, the developer hasn’t confirmed or denied plans for them, though it’s expected that the team will soon be focused on a Dead Space 2 remake.

Dead Space Remake roadmap for updates and patches

The Dead Space Remake roadmap currently consists of regular updates that tackle issues with the game across all platforms.

At the time of writing, the 1.03 update has been released for some platforms. This targets graphical issues that have been affecting some players on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.

When confirming that the 1.03 update is being rolled out and given details on what it fixes, the developer explained that the team has been made aware of other issues that are being investigated.

With the game having only just launched, players can expect the developer to be fully focused on fixing issues and adding that extra bit of polish during the launch period.
