Hogwarts Legacy Get on Broom Summon Mount Broomstick

Hogwarts Legacy Get on Broom: How to Summon and Mount Your Broomstick

You can get on your broom in Hogwarts Legacy, but it’ll be a while before you gain the ability to summon it. You’ll be stuck in and around Hogwarts and Hogsmeade for the first 5-10 hours of the game. Fortunately, once you gain the ability to mount your broomstick, there are very few limits to summoning it.

How to summon and mount your broom in Hogwarts Legacy

Once you unlock the ability to summon a broom in Hogwarts Legacy, you can use the following key combination to get on your broomstick:

  • PS4/PS5: Hold L1, then tap Circle
  • Xbox: Hold LB, then tap B
  • PC (Keyboard): Hold Tab and Press 3.

Of course, there are some limits to where you can mount and use your broom in Hogwarts Legacy. There’s no flying inside any buildings in the game, and the entirety of Hogsmeade is off-limits. Hogwarts is a mixed bag. You can get on the broom as long as you’re outdoors in a courtyard or on a bridge. However, you’re prevented from landing in numerous nooks and crannies. In particular, you can’t dismount on Ravenclaw Tower if you’re not a member of that house.

Once you can summon your broomstick, you don’t lose the ability for the rest of the game. So, get on it and ride to your heart’s content!
