How to Connect Pokemon Go to Scarlet and Violet to Get Gimmighoul and Vivillon

Pokemon Go can be connected to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to get Gimmighoul and Vivillon, it was revealed in today’s Pokemon Presents event. The two Pokemon were made available to download for the games directly after the presentation ended, with many wondering how to connect Go to Scarlet and Violet in order to obtain them.

How to connect Pokemon Go to Scarlet and Violet

  1. Go to Pokemon Scarlet or Violet’s Options menu
  2. Open Pokemon Go Settings
  3. Confirm with the ‘Yes’ button

After following the above instructions, players will then be able to get Gimmighoul in Pokemon Go and Vivillon in Scarlet and Violet.

This feature was previously revealed before Scarlet and Violet’s launch, but was initially only going to include Roaming Form Gimmighoul. Additionally, it was also revealed that Pokemon Home support for both Scarlet and Violet will be coming in early 2023, though no exact release date has been given.

Elsewhere in the Pokemon Presents event, the rumored Red and Blue Switch versions were notably missing from the show, while a brand new Netflix animated series titled Pokemon Concierge was also revealed.
