The Diablo 4 Season 1 rewards will be a mix of battle pass tiers and cosmetic items. Season 1, otherwise known as the Season of the Malignant, will begin on July 20 at 10 am PDT / 1 pm EDT. Players will earn rewards from completing each chapter of the seasonal story as well as finishing every tier of the battle pass. Some of these rewards will be only last until the season is over while others will carry over to non-seasonal characters. Here’s what to expect for Season 1 rewards for Diablo 4.
Diablo 4 Season 1 rewards list
Blizzard has confirmed the following rewards for Diablo 4 Season 1 by completing seasonal chapters as well as the battle pass:
- New Legendary Aspects
- Scroll of Amnesia – This will allow you to reset your seasonal character’s skill tree and paragon board without having to spend money
- Smoldering Ashes – This is earned through the Battle Pass and can be spent on boosts to seasonal characters like increased XP gain and rare material drops from salvaging
- Weapon and armor transmogs – In particular, Artisan’s clothing for armor sets
- The “Eldritch Monster” title
The battle pass will have 90 tiers, separated into 27 free tiers and 63 premium tiers. The free tiers will give access to Smoldering Ashes, so you don’t have to worry too much about not getting the Premium Battle Pass. The premium tiers will feature seasonal cosmetics and Platinum Currency that can be spent in the cosmetic store. Players can spend Platinum to skip tiers if they want to accelerate their progress.
The Smoldering Ashes can be spent on Season Blessings in the form of passive perks. This includes the Urn of Aggression for more XP earned from monster kills and the Urn of Malignance that boosts the chance that Malignant Hearts will drop. These blessings will only last until the end of the season.
The Premium Battle Pass will also come with the Coldiron Armor Set, Coldiron Barding Mount, and a Warded Mustang Mount, which we believe will carry over to the main game. The Accelerated Battle Pass will come with 20 free tier skips as well as the “On the Warpath” emote.
