The Diablo 4 Brought to Heel quest can be frustrating when it comes to figuring out where the red mushroom is. The Brought to Heel side quests asks players to collect a wild red mushroom for a NPC named Lumir in the city of Backwater within a blue region in Hawezar, but the area you need to search is very large compared to similar quests. The red mushroom also blends into the background, so if you’re expecting a bright red spot somewhere on the ground, you won’t find it. Here’s where you can find the red mushroom so you can finally complete the quest in Diablo 4.
Where is the Diablo 4 red mushroom in Brought to Heel quest?
The red mushroom location for the Brought to Heel quest is located near the center of the region highlighted in blue. It’s several paces left of the cellar in the middle of the area.
The problem is that the red mushroom patch is very hard to see. Even though it’s next to a gray pool of water and a very muddy ground, the color of the patch blends into the background. If you squint, you may be able to make out the red caps of the mushrooms, but it’s very easy to miss it if you’re riding a horse.
Anyway, once you have the mushroom in hand, you can take it back to Lumir in Backwater. It’s close enough that you can just ride back, but you can also just use the waypoint in the area. As usual, your reward will be some XP, gold, renown, and typically a pair of rare gloves.
