Baldur's Gate 3 Save the Gondians BG3

Baldur’s Gate 3 Save the Gondians: Where to Find the Prison

The Baldur’s Gate 3 Save the Gondians quest is a difficult quest to complete mainly because it’s hard to find the prison. After meeting Zanner Toobin in Act 3, the leader of the Gondians, your task is to save their family members so that the Gondians can’t be forced to produce Steel Watchers in the Foundry. It can be easy to miss the clues in the building’s lower levels so that you can figure out where the prison is in the first place. Here’s how to locate the prison for the Save the Gondians quest in BG3.

The following steps are how to finish the Save the Gondians quest, including where to find the prison:

  1. Go to Foundry lower levels – From Toobin’s location, head downstairs to the Steel Watch Foundry lower levels
  2. Find Vessel Identified document – Defeat the enemies here and then find the document called “Vessel Identified” at around coordinates X 1965, Y 460. The document is on a wooden shelf in the corner of a metal platform that is close to a metal ladder you can climb.
  3. Head to Flymm Cargo and defeat enemies – Go to the coordinates X -172, Y -148 in the city of Baldur’s Gate 3 and unlock the door to Flymm Cargo. This will trigger a fight to occur.
  4. Find Redhammer the Deviser in Flymm Cargo basement – Head to the basement and find the submersible next to Redhammer the Deviser.
  5. Take submersible down to the prison and ignore Lord Enver Gortash – Gortash will attempt to threaten you, but you should ignore it.
  6. Save as many hostages as possible – This includes Duke Ulder Ravengard, which is part of another questline.
  7. Speak with the survivors and return to Foundry – Head back to the Foundry and fight the enemies to free the Gondians
  8. Grab the Control Level Key – Return to the Lab Level to the Foundry and find Hahns Rivers to locate the Control Level Key
  9. Defeat the Titan boss – Go to the Control Centre Antechamber at coordinates X -1962, Y 454

You’ll need to speak to Toobin again after the Titan is defeated to finally complete the quest.
