Baldur's Gate 3 Oubliette BG3 Moonrise Towers Other Side

Baldur’s Gate 3 Oubliette: How to Reach The Other Side

The Baldur’s Gate 3 Oubliette location is a confusing, bloody area beneath the Moonrise Towers, leaving players wondering how to get to the other side and what to do in this location in the first place. There are multiple ways to reach this Oubliette area. One way is finding the crack in the wall after figuring out where the suspicious sounds are coming from. It’s also possible to be thrown into the area by not finishing Act 2 and trying to go beyond the road to Baldur’s Gate. There’s even a way to get here by using the Misty Step or Dimension Door spell. Here’s what you are supposed to do in the Oubliette under the Moonrise Towers in BG3.

How to get to the other side of Baldur’s Gate 3 Oubliette

To reach the other side of the Oubliette, you need to complete the main story quest Defeat Ketheric Thorm and then click on the broken tower with a red glow coming out of it.

Specifically, the tower you need to interact with is on the Moonrise Tower Rooftop near coordinates X -130, Y -177. Of course, reaching this point is easier said than done, since you need to ascend each floor of the tower and then go through a major boss fight. But at least you know how to get to the other side of the Oubliette without having to wander around confused.

The reason for the confusion in the first place comes from a character that is on the other side of the Oubliette that talks about how it’s going to chop off faces. As gruesome as that is, this provides a clue that there’s obviously a way over there, but it’s a rather long-winded process to do so.

If you find yourself in the Oubliette and want to escape, there is a membrane nearby that you can destroy to open an exit.
