Payday 3 Offline Mode When Available Release PC Mod Github

Payday 3 Offline Mode: When Will Offline Play Be Available?

A Payday 3 offline mode has been requested by a lot of fans at launch. Many players are still stuck in matchmaking, despite developer Starbreeze Studios saying that the multiplayer servers will be coming back online. Unfortunately, because the game is online-only, even people who are trying to play the game solo can face a wait time of over 30 minutes and counting. With so many issues with the servers, an offline mode would indeed take some of the server load away and help people get into matches. Here’s what we know so far about an offline mode being available for Payday 3 in the future.

When will a Payday 3 offline mode be released?

At the moment, an offline mode has not been officially announced by Starbreeze Studios. However, an offline mode is being worked on.

A user on Github named SlejmUr is in the process of making a mod called PayCheck3 that will add an offline mode to the PC version of Payday 3. The mod is described as a “server emulator” and requires that players own a legitimate copy of the game for it to work properly. The creator states that the mod is no way in support of piracy and that the project has no affiliation or endorsement from Starbreeze in any capacity.

More Payday 3

At the time of writing, this offline mod still needs to work on various server responses and connections before it reaches a finished state. Trying to get this mod to run will require some technical knowhow, and you’ll need to be careful where you copy the various .crt and .pfx files. At any rate, it’s unclear when this mod will release, but we’ll update this guide when it does.

That said, many fans want an official offline mode, as noted by the numerous responses to Starbreeze Entertainment on Twitter. We can only hope that the developer is listening to community feedback and is working on adding this feature at some time in the early part of the game’s roadmap.
