Transistor Sells Over A Half-Million Copies

Transistor, the only game I had the privilege of handing out a 5/5 last year, has sold over 600,000 copies, as revealed by Greg Kasavin on the official Supergiant Games blog.

While it hasn't achieved the success of Bastion, which has sold over 3 million copies to date, Transistor has strong numbers between its sales on Steam and PSN.

So far, in its end-of-year awards it is has received over 70 accolades, including a nomination in our Best Indie Game category in our 2014 GameRevolution Awards. In other circles, it received recognition for its ethereal soundtrack (I've embedded what I think is the best song of the soundtrack above), transhumanist-themed writing, and poignant voice-acting.
