PC Gets Its Own Press Conference at E3

Microsoft, Nintendo, Sony, and plenty of other publishers get their time in the spotlight at E3, but AMD and PC Gamer are teaming up to bring some attention to the PC platform.

PC Gamer revealed the PC Gaming Show this morning, a brand new press conference set to take place at E3. It revolves entirely around PC games and news, and eSports commentator Sean "Day[9]" Plott will handle hosting duties.

Quite a few notable figures are scheduled to make appearances at the PC Gaming Show. They include DayZ designer Dean Hall, Cliff Bleszinski of Boss Key Productions, and other individuals from companies such as Blizzard, Devolver Digital, Obsidian, and Square Enix.

Matt Skynner, Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Computing and Graphics at AMD, explained the decision to introduce the PC Gaming Show to E3.

"The PC Gaming Show embodies the spirit of innovation, openness and community that's part of our DNA—delivered by gamers, for gamers," he said. "The time is right for a PC-focused event in the week of E3 and we're honored to be part of bringing the industry together."

The PC Gaming Show takes place on June 16 at E3, and the event will be livestreamed on Twitch for those who can't attend.
