DotA 2 Tournament Ends With Ukrainians on Top

You may have noticed that over the course of the last week, I've been following the big DotA 2 International tournament that Valve's hosting at gamescom to promote their forthcoming game in the most epic of ways. Well the battle is over, the smoke bombs have cleared, and the Ukrainian team Na'vi (which I hope is not a reference to a certain overrated James Cameron movie) stand alone atop a pile of vanquished heroes.

That's a lot of fucking money, by the way. Valve really spared no expense on this tournament. Even the second place team got a cool $250k. Congratulations to Na'Vi; apparently those Ukrainians don't mess around with their games. Take a look at the championship matches on the DotA 2 website.

In related news, now's your chance to sign up for the DotA 2 beta if you haven't already—provided you have a Steam account. Simply go to the DotA 2 page through your Steam client, or sign in on the DotA 2 website with your Steam ID to be placed on the list. Happy hunting!
