Larian Studios Announces Divinity: Original Sin 2

Divinity: Original Sin II has just been announced by Larian Studios. This sequel to its popular 2014 role-playing game will be seeking funding on Kickstarter later this month.

While the crowd-funding campaign doesn't officially kick off until August 26, you can start voting on which rewards you'd like to see offered through the Kickstarter right now. To get in on the action and make your thoughts heard, head over to the game's official site.

Better yet, PAX Prime attendees have a very special treat in store, as Larian has also confirmed that a playable prototype of Divinity: Original Sin II will be at the convention. In an effort to tide you over until then, Larian has revealed the official cover art. Give it a look below.

That's all we know about the upcoming RPG sequel right now, but the developer will reveal a whole lot more on August 26. As such, be sure to stay tuned to GameRevolution later this month for additional details.

While you patiently wait, read our review of the first game.
