Call of Duty, Mortal Kombat, Assassin’s Creed All Coming to Vita

While the PlayStation Vita's launch line-up is impressive, there hasn't been much else annouced that will keep gamers interested for the long-haul. Worry not, says John Koller, Director of Hardware Marketing for Sony, who says there are many major releases in the pipeline, including Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed and Mortal Kombat.

What we really wanted to do, and I think we learned from past, most recent, handheld device launches, is that you don't want to launch strongly and then go dark for three or four months and have nothing…So in subsequent months for Vita, we have launch, then we have MLB, then we got Mortal Kombat, then Resistance, then Little Big Planet, then Call of Duty, and Assassin's Creed.

He forgot Sound Shapes, which as you know, is one of GR's most anticipated games of 2012. But still, knowing that the Vita's AAA releases will be bountiful, is certainly going to make people feel more comfortable come February 22nd when they plunk down over $250 to purchase Sony's new portable.
